Nestled in the heart of Hawke’s Bay’s renowned Bridge Pa Triangle, Ash Ridge Wines is a boutique, organic vineyard, cellar door, and kitchen that embodies a hands-on, family-driven approach to winemaking. Since acquiring the estate in 2021, owners Leith and Tracy Ashworth have infused their passion into every aspect of
the winery, from cultivating the vines to crafting the wines and welcoming guests.
Leith, a seasoned winemaker with a degree in viticulture and oenology from Lincoln University, brings over
two decades of experience, including vintages in Oregon, Bordeaux, and throughout Hawke's Bay.
Ash Ridge's commitment to sustainability is evident in its certification as a fully organic vineyard as of the 2022 harvest. The estate produces a diverse range of varietals, including Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, all hand-crafted to reflect the unique terroir of the region.
The welcoming cellar door offers a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy tastings, fresh platters, and wood-fired pizzas amidst the vines. The venue's family-friendly environment, complete with farm animals roaming the vineyards, adds to its charm.
