Raukawa Community Centre
Built in 1905 to house a local Working Men’s Club, the building was the home of the Wadestown Library from 1932 until 1985 when the current library was built.
It has been run as a small community centre ever since, hosting a community crèche (now closed) for 30 years, and the Wadestown toy library (ongoing) during school terms, as well as other activities and classes.
